Randomness in my houseUpon my visit to the washroom, I returned, half-asleep, but pleasantly surprised to find that my right eye had finally developed a double-eyelid to balance the two eyes. I opened the study door only to find my tutor had declared the lesson over and was waiting for me so she could then depart.Surprised but nevertheless happy at both discoveries, I guided her out of the house, when she saws my mother reading her daily papers, comfortably nestled on the sofa. I broke the news to her that I had developed another double eyelid. She laughed, and she and the tutor began to converse.I was devastated and torn beyond shock to hear my tutor announce to my mother," I was thinking of having two tuition sessions straight tomorrow,(four delightfully heavy study hours) since we haven't gone through geometrical constructions yet and her test is in two days' time. I could come at half-past noon.""Good Lord," I said. They both turned and looked at me.My mother offered her own opinion," She has a two-hour badminton session tomorrow, so I think it would be rather..difficult to manage."" Then.. I could come at about half-past ten?"My mother's brows frowned in consideration." What about a three-hour-session? She could use the extra hour for science next week."A negotiation was reached, and the tutor departed, satisfied. My mother called me to examine my double-eyelids."Oh, so now both your eyes are balanced.""Naturally so."" It could disappear."" Is that possible?""You could inject your eyes with botox." she motioned with her hands." Disgusting!" I declared, with utter contempt and obvious disgust. My mother chuckled, and I headed back to the study room.
