hey, ysaera here.well i'd like to give link:premonition~ a try: tell me whatcha think, it's rather short, sorry. it's kind of an impromptu story.

In the world called Unitycross, in the country of Eve, there are certain days where it is considered a curse to have happy occasions held.
One of these was February 29th.
The dark day.
The leaders of the country were called the Alpha and the Omega: the Beginning and the End.
and the Omega gave birth on the 29th.
To twins.
The problem about twins was that they signified the end of an era; and to make matters worse they were born on the Dark day. The dark day occured several centuries ago when the moon changed it's phase. instead of turning into a new moon, which meant that the moon could not be seen( a lunar eclipse), a solar eclipse occured at the exact moment both twins entered the world.
and it was the first solar eclipse in a millenium.
the last solar eclipse had also borne a twin with it;
the surviving twins, cursed by the unnatural happening, had a scar as a reminder of that day. It was the unlucky scar known as the dark scar, cursed with death. The twins died only hours later.
To create the final setback, both twins had been born at EXACTLY the same time- a phenomenon that had never happened in Unitycross' entire history.
These twins had also received the dreaded scar of death; the only way to divert the curse was to separate the twins for an eternity. And to make things even stranger the twins would be the exact opposite of each other- when one was ill the other was well, and vice versa. This also applied to their spiritual welfare. To make one of the twins wholly spiritual, the other had to be halved.
So in the end, the alpha and the omega blessed the twins with the powers of the sun.
But something happened.
Because it was a solar eclipse-the sun was covered by the moon.
As a result, the other twin was given the powers of the moon.
Then, they hastily sent the two babies to different countries, one to the realm of sun, Flame, and the other to the realm of moon, Eclipse.
The two babies were boy and girl- the boy was blessed with the powers of the sun and a healthy body and the girl was blessed with the powers of the moon,a sickly body- but a spirit so strong it could move the universe- this was essential to control the powers at her will.
The girl was named Rain and the boy was named Aon. Rain was sent to Eclipse and Aon to Flame.
And they were the unlucky twins who had survived.
